VA Tech Massacre

A White House spokesman said President Bush was horrified by the rampage and offered his prayers to the victims and the people of Virginia.  "The president believes that there is a right for people to bear arms, but that all laws must be followed," spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

Now there's a very presidential response, I mean, isn't Virginia Tech the kind of place where all the students would proudly bear arms, and at least one of them should have popped the person before they went on the second spree? Why didn't the White House spokesperson advocate that more students should carry weapons to class to prevent this sort of tragedy? Is that Dana Perino wearing her "big girl panties" today?!
